The Justice Minister says a Ministerial Advisory Group's needed to more quickly progress policy

Paul Goldsmith's announced the new group today, which will put forward proposals for victims of retail crime.

National's criticised the former Government for starting working groups, but Goldsmith says this one's necessary because of the busy pipeline of policy in the justice space.

He says the policy bandwidth within the Ministry of Justice is what's holding up changes, and setting up this working group will help policy move further and faster.
