The Prime Minister's doubling down on his commitment to force boy racers to hit the brakes, as Police investigate multiple 'street invasions' over the weekend

The Prime Minister's doubling down on his commitment to force boy racers to hit the brakes, as Police investigate multiple 'street invasions' over the weekend

Police are still working to identify some of the hundreds of boy racers involved in several illegal meet-ups across Auckland.

So far, at least five vehicles have been impounded and 70 vehicle infringement notices have been issued.

Christopher Luxon says they're working on legislation to crack down on this behaviour, because boy races can't be allowed to keep causing Kiwis pain.

Luxon says they're taking action because they want people to be safe, adding communities are fed up.
