Staff are calling for solutions after a review underlined ongoing problems at Nelson Hospital

Staff are calling for solutions after a review underlined ongoing problems at Nelson Hospital

Concerns raised by senior staff this year resulted in Health New Zealand being called in to look into the situation.

The four month long review's found problems with leadership and severe understaffing has delayed care for hundreds of patients.

Nelson Hospital anaesthetist Katie Ben says she wants to know what Health NZ going to do to fix it.

She's wondering what they did in four months, because it seems a long time to not find out very much.
