WorkSafe's developing a plan to reduce carcinogen exposure in workplaces

A study's revealed 750 to 900 people die from work-related health issues in New Zealand each year.

WorkSafe's Jude Urlich says a worker is 15 times more likely to die from a work-related disease than from a workplace accident.

She says the cost of workplace-related cancer deaths is at least 320 million dollars each year.
