A large number of people in Samoa are yet to be vaccinated for measles

A large number of people in Samoa are yet to be vaccinated for measles

The death toll is at 60, and 171 new cases have been reported in the past 24 hours.

Samoa Observer journalist Sapeer Mayron says many people are still vulnerable.

She says about 100 thousand still need vaccinating.

She says around 30 percent of infants, 14 percent of children aged five to 19, and 20 percent of women still need their measles jab.
