    New Zealand now has 29 new cases of Covid-19

    New Zealand now has 29 new cases of Covid-19


    20 have been confirmed, nine are probable.

    Two elderly people have also died after contracting the virus.

    Fifteen are in hospital, including five in intensive care - with one, in Dunedin, in critical condition.

    Four hundred and 22 people have now recovered.

    Director of Public Health, Doctor Caroline (LINE) McElnay (MACKLE-nay) says the number of people recovering, remains higher than any new cases reported.
