Health NZ says thousands of people have been vaccinated since measles cases broke out in Northland two weeks ago

There have been 10 cases of measles in Northland, and one unrelated case in Queenstown.

More than 6 thousand and 800 doses of the MMR vaccine have been given since these announced cases.

MMR coverage is at 77.4 percent nationwide for under 18s which is well short of the 95 percent goal.
