New research shows asthma sufferers should just be using one inhaler, not two

Normally asthma sufferers use a prevention inhaler twice a day, and a reliever whenever they feel wheezy.

But New Zealand reseach published in the Lancet today, shows combined inhaler treatments cut the risk of severe asthma attacks by one third.

Medical Research Institute Director Richard Beasley says the finding is likely to change global asthma practices, as it makes the illness simpler to manage, while also lowering the risk.
