    Auckland's Domain and Christchurch's Hagley Park will glow for blood cancer tonight


    Leukaemia and Blood Cancer NZ are hosting its inaugural 'Shine for a Cure' nationwide lantern fundraiser walk.

    Around eight Kiwi's are diagnosed with a form of blood cancer each day.

    CEO Tim Edmonds says all the money raised will go towards research.

    He says this is a form of cancer that impacts many New Zealanders and this is a way to show support.

    The Auckland SkyTower will also turn teal, gold and white tonight - each colour representing different cancer journeys.
