    Injectable weight loss drug, Wegovy is expected to hit our shores next Tuesday


    It'll be available with a prescription at a pharmacy, but isn't publicly funded.

    It's made by pharmaceutical company, Novo Nordisk .

    Oceania Vice President, Ana Svensson says many New Zealanders have weight issues.

    She says about 2.8 million people are either overweight or obese - and 170 thousand suffer related cardiovascular problems.
