A couple arrested in Wanaka, alleged to have faked cancer to defraud family and friends of one million dollars, are facing fresh charges

28-year-old Andrew Stewart Jones and 38-year-old Sepiuta Setaita Vave initially appeared in court in Queenstown on fraud charges.

It's reported the couple were living the high life in Wanaka with high-end European cars and a lavish lifestyle.
