Police have arrested several boy racers and seized dozens of cars following the second night of the Aves Invasion in Christchurch

Dozens of car enthusiasts flocked to the city, making for a noisy night of revving engines and skidding tyres.

Ten people have been arrested for various offences - with three found over the breath alcohol limit.

Around 30 defective or unsafe cars have also been taken off the road, and a number of speed camera tickets and infringement notices issued.
