Homicide detectives are following a number of inquiries as they investigate the death of a 57-year-old woman in South Auckland

Homicide detectives are following a number of inquiries as they investigate the death of a 57-year-old woman in South Auckland

The investigation, labelled Operation Truro, was launched after Meliame Fisi'ihoi's body was found early on Wednesday morning.

A scene examination of the Calthorp Close property and a post-mortem have been been completed.

Acting Detective Inspector Shaun Vickers says police are still unable to speculate whether an incident on the same street in December is connected to the investigation.
