    A dramatic arrival for harbour ferry commuters in Wellington this morning


    Police officers armed with tasers met a ferry from Days Bay as it arrived at Queens Wharf, after reports of abusive behaviour.

    Police were alerted at 8.45am to reports of a woman being abusive towards a man just the ferry departed Days Bay.

    A Police spokeswoman says the woman also produced a knife, but no injuries were reported.

    The woman boarded the ferry but the man stayed behind and called Police.

    Police say they're speaking with the woman and another person, thought to be her companion.
