    Ghislaine Maxwell's past has come back to haunt her


    The former girlfriend of accused sex offender Jeffrey Epstein made her first court appearance today.

    She's been arrested by the FBI - after allegations of having a role in sexual exploiting and abusing underage girls - as young at 14.

    Wall Street Journal journalist Rebecca O'Brien says formal charges were laid against her today.

    They include transportation of a minor to engage in criminal sexual activity, conspiracy to entice minors to engage in illegal sex acts -- as well as perjury.
