    A gambler who pinched more than 1.4 million dollars from a dead father-in-law's bank accounts has been sent to prison


    Eddie Quirke was sentenced today at the Christchurch District Court after pleading guilty to charges of theft and accessing a computer for dishonest purposes.

    Judge Gilbert says he showed little remorse or awareness of the impact of his offending.
