Cordons will remain in place today while Police continue an examination following the death of a man at a Christchurch property on Sunday

Cordons will remain in place today while Police continue an examination following the death of a man at a Christchurch property on Sunday

The cordon has been at the intersection of Armagh Street and Barbadoes Street since Sunday night.

Police say the investigation site is extensive and they appreciate it's an inconvenience for those living in this area.

Cordons will likely be lifted later today.

A 38-year-old man appeared in the Christchurch District Court yesterday on a murder charge.
