An alleged prolific fraudster who's offended across Auckland has been caught by Police

The Waitemata West Tactical Crime Unit last night took a 33-year-old man into custody, from a west Auckland address.

Police allege he's been offending since December -- mostly through Facebook Marketplace, using fraudulent means to obtain vehicles and high-end electronics -- leaving victims thousands of dollars out of pocket.

The man has been scheduled to appear in Waitakere District Court today, on seven charges of obtains by deception.
