    A 33-year-old man's been charged with murder following an alleged assault in Stoke earlier this month

    A 33-year-old man's been charged with murder following an alleged assault in Stoke earlier this month


    Police were called to the scene at Orchard Street on November 10.

    The victim, Mongrel Mob member James Barton, was found with critical injuries and later died in hospital.

    The alleged attacker will appear in the Nelson District Court on Friday.
