Police have remained at the West Auckland property where a child had suddenly died yesterday morning

Police have remained at the West Auckland property where a child had suddenly died yesterday morning

The death's being treated as an unexplained, and a scene guard stayed at the property on Simpson Road in Ranui overnight.

The Herald's David Williams, who was at the scene, says there were two cop cars.

He says police tape's still across the driveway, and detectives and a forensic team have gone inside.
