A significantly subdued start to today's session at the trial over the killing of Christchurch realtor, Yanfei Bao

A significantly subdued start to today's session at the trial over the killing of Christchurch realtor, Yanfei Bao

Tingjun Cao is accused of murdering Bao at a private property viewing last year.

Her body was found with stab wounds more than a year later.

Last week Cao stormed out of court, accusing a witness of lying.

He arrived today with a large plaster on the side of his neck and hand, and no shoes.

Cao's been moving slowly, and sitting in the dock with his eyes closed.
