An investigation's underway into reports of a firearm being discharged towards a house in New Plymouth

Nobody was injured during the incident, which occurred shortly after midnight on Pembroke Street.

Police are appealing for witnesses, including anyone who saw any suspicious vehicles, particularly a red four-door hatchback, possibly part of a convoy, or a dark coloured sedan in the Westown area.
