Police are considering charges for a man who forced entry into Murupara's unmanned police station this morning

Police are considering charges for a man who forced entry into Murupara's unmanned police station this morning

Officers spent hours behind cars outside the Whakatane District building - talking to him inside, through a loud speaker.

Police allege he smashed the glass entrance door.

An axe and machete were found inside the man's vehicle - and a chainsaw found thrown over a fence.
