A slain woman's sister and the murderer's probation officer have addressed a Coroner's court today

Juliana Bonilla Herrera was found dead in her flat in 2022 - violently attacked by her neighbour, paroled convicted rapist, Joseph Brider.

Herald senior reporter, Anna Leask, says Herrera's sister asked Corrections to reflect on their decision - and the probation officer said nothing different cold have been done.

Leask says the officer had set Brider's risk at high-high, particularly towards women he had a relationship with, or who had rejected him.
