Police say young people are egging each other on, to commit crime around Hamilton businesses

Police say young people are egging each other on, to commit crime around Hamilton businesses

Over the last month, 23 youth proceedings and charges have been undertaken for burglary, unlawfully taking vehicles and aggravated robbery.

For example, three youths were arrested after an aggravated robbery at a liquor store in Hamilton on Saturday evening.

Waikato police are concerned these offences are being committed by young people, despite their work with other agencies and schools to deter them from offending.
