    Four arrests after gun shots were heard in Weymouth, South Auckland, last night


    It's alleged a group discharged a gun multiple times from a Roys Road carpark, towards an estuary.

    Police were called before midnight, quickly located the car - and carried out arrests without incident.

    They found a shotgun in the car, and live and spent cartridges.

    A 43-year old man's due in the Manukau District Court today charged with discharging a firearm, and its unlawful possession - and driving with excess breath alcohol.
