A South Aucklander whose home was raided by armed police yesterday alleges firearms were pointed at her children, and says she's furious

Police carried out a six-hour search for a person of interest yesterday.

Vanessa Potini says she was cooking dinner at her Red Hill residence when multiple officers arrived - pointing guns at her head.

She says they screamed at her to get out with her hands up.

Potini claims when she woke her daughters, officers pointed firearms at them.

She alleges she was handcuffed for disorderly behaviour, while Police ransacked her home.
