    Police investigations have begun into a fatal police pursuit in Auckland's Papatoetoe overnight


    Police say a driver died at the scene and their passenger is in a critical condition.

    The IPCA has been notified.

    Meanwhile, residents in Weymouth are too traumatised to speak, after Auckland's third drive-by shooting in a fortnight.

    Our newsroom understands bullets were fired on a family home and car during the night.
