    Police are investigating why a man allegedly tried to pull a person in to his vehicle, in Christchurch


    The incident happened about 3pm on January 2 on the northern end of Tennyson Street.

    A man's been charged with attempted kidnapping and is due in court on Thursday.

    Police are asking anyone who may have seen something to come forward.
