A warning to Southland residents after a number of rural burglaries

Police are investigating multiple break in's in Clutha and Gore where fuel and equipment have been the main target.

Southland District Sergeant Tim Coudret says residents should update their inventory of farm equipment, including model and serial numbers.

He urges people to report any suspicious activity - adding if it looks dodgy it probably is.
