Incoming Auckland mayor Wayne Brown has written to the major telcos over the region's mobile phone black spots

The letter to the chief executives of 2degrees, Spark and Vodafone, offers to work with them to accelerate progress on eliminating black spots and dropped call rates.
His letter has been copied to Crown Infrastructure Partners.
Brown has asked for advice from the three companies by the end of this month, on how we can help them improve their service.
