Mixed reaction to NCEA exams going ahead for senior students in Alert Level Three

Mixed reaction to NCEA exams going ahead for senior students in Alert Level Three

The Government's confirmed NCEA exams will continue for Year 11,12 and 13 students in Covid-disrupted regions -- and that they will be returning to schools from Tuesday next week.

Students will also be eligible for what's being called an "unexpected event" grade.

Macleans College Principal and Auckland Secondary Principals' Association President Steven Hargreaves , says not everyone is on-board with it.

He says some will feel prepared for exams, while others, particularly those sitting practical subjects will not.
