    Hundreds of free degrees are on offer for lower decile South Island school-leavers


    Canterbury University has created new scholarships to mark its 150th birthday next year, covering degree course fees for 150 current decile one to seven school students next year.

    Another 150 scholarships will be on offer in 2024.

    More than 80 percent of current scholarship recipients come from higher decile schools.
