Union members at four universities will strike for four hours on Thursday

Union members at four universities will strike for four hours on Thursday

The four-thousand Tertiary Education Union members are from Auckland, Massey, Canterbury and Lincoln universities.

The union says they're striking in response to inadequate pay offers and employers refusing to pay all staff above Living Wage.

Victoria University and Otago University staff aren't striking due to ongoing negotiations.

AUT members aren't negotiating this year while Waikato University is beginning new negotiations.
