Primary school teachers say a new Government offer comes nowhere close to the pay equity claim scrapped in May

Primary school teachers say a new Government offer comes nowhere close to the pay equity claim scrapped in May

Members of the Educational Institute are considering industrial action after rejecting the last proposal.

They are now in the process of voting on a revised offer which would give experienced teacher an up to 4.7-percent pay increase.

Results on the vote will be made public Monday evening.

Negotiator Paeone Goonan won't say what she thinks of the offer until members have their say.
