Plans to make sure children can keep learning when schools resume in a week - in homes

Plans to make sure children can keep learning when schools resume in a week - in homes

The Education Minister's unveiled a four-part package of home learning options.

It includes funding for two television channels that can broadcast education-related content.

One will be in English, the other in Maori, as well as content targeted to Pacific and other communities.

The Government's also working to increase internet and device access for students.

Hard copy packs of materials will be available, and more online resources for parents.

The package will start being rolled out this week.
