Senior high school students in Auckland may have to do exams at home

They haven't been at school for 45 days, as term four kicks off today.

Schools across the city want them back in the classroom as soon as possible.

Papatoetoe High School Principal Vaughan Couillault says the exam aeroplane is coming in hot ... but the runway is very short.

He says they're doing everything they can to maximise the face time they get with students leading up to exams.
