Canterbury schools are hoping they're close to seeing Covid numbers start to drop

Data shows 83 per cent of schools in Canterbury and the Chatham Islands are now dealing with cases - the highest in the country.

Otago and Southland aren't far behind with 74 per cent of schools faced with cases.
