The Prime Minister says international relationships have weakened

While international student numbers have bounced back to new records in Australia - New Zealand's figures aren't at the same level.
Chris Luxon says the country went internal, myopic and a bit negative over the past six years - and hasn't been out in the world.
He says New Zealand's five million people in a world of eight billion - and a lot of relationships in tourism, international students and export markets, have gone cold.
Luxon says they'll get on planes and get back out there.
