One man is charged in relation to an Auckland school being burgled eight times in two weeks

Police say the Mt Roskill school had been locked, secured with an alarm, and checked by security each time.

They say in one instance, the accused performed an indecent act in front of a staff member.

In the early hours this morning, Police arrested a 37-year-old man inside school grounds.

He will appear in Auckland District Court next week with multiple burglary - and one indecency, charge.
