A Kiwi designer hat company' has switched its production line to face masks

Hills Hats recently started offering reusable masks - but after Director-General of Health Ashley Bloomfield advised people to stock up just in case - they sold out.

CEO Simon Smuts-Kennedy says the team's made 400 masks today - and he has staff coming in at 6am tomorrow to keep up with demand.

He says 80 percent of what they're making at the moment is masks - and it's actually saved their business from the post-Covid slump.
