The pull to come home has proven too strong for Neil Finn

The pull to come home has proven too strong for Neil Finn

He was working on a new Crowded House record in Los Angeles, when he and his family retreated to their own bubble and concentrated on the music until heading back.

Neil Finn says windows looking out over Auckland helped them get through their managed isolation in the Crown Plaza.

He says they watched the pandemic unfold and New Zealand kick its response out of the park.

Finn says says they didn't have to come back two weeks ago, but the lure of home was strong.

Crowded House will tour New Zealand in March -- with concerts in Hamilton, Napier, Nelson, Christchurch, Dunedin, Queenstown, Wellington, Palmerston North and New Plymouth.
