Eight weeks without Australia isn't phasing the Capital

As of midnight last night the government put a pause on the trans tasman bubble for eight weeks.

Traditionally Australians made up 80 percent of Wellington's business market.

However WellingtonNZ General Manager Warrick Dent says it will be an easy transition back for Wellington, as have learnt to love local.

He says businesses have shown over the last 12 to 18 months that they're resilient and they'll be looking at their opportunities over the next eight weeks.
