    Northland rugby boss Cameron Bell wants to repay Bay of Plenty back as best he can


    The Steamers and wider rugby community have been rocked by the death of back Sean Wainui in a car accident yesterday.

    Bell and the Taniwha are preparing for their NPC match on Sunday against Bay of Plenty to go ahead, but wouldn't be surprised if it's called off.

    He remembers when the Steamers helped them recently.



    Northland drops to alert level two tonight, opening the door for the Taniwha to return home - provided they can access travel exemptions.
