A call for public help in turning around growing dog attacks in Auckland

A call for public help in turning around growing dog attacks in Auckland

Council figures show more than 28-hundred dog attacks were reported in the past year -- a 17-percent rise.

It says numbers of roaming dogs have significantly grown.

Auckland Animal Management Manager, Elly Waitoa, says everyone can all help address the problem.

She says people need to call out neighbours and families if they don't act like responsible owners.
