Police say there were no significant issues as the Treaty Principles Bill hikoi marched through Auckland

Police say there were no significant issues as the Treaty Principles Bill hikoi marched through Auckland

An estimated five-thousand people crossed the Harbour Bridge this morning, before about two-thousand headed up to Bastion Point.

It was one of the largest concentrations ever of people crossing the Harbour Bridge in such a short time.

Tomorrow, disruptions are expected across the roading network and in urban areas in Waikato, Bay of Plenty and Eastern Districts.

The hikoi will arrive at Hamilton's FMG Stadium by 9am.

It's due to arrive at Parliament by next Tuesday.
