Another bendy-bus is coming to Wellington's public transport fleet

Another bendy-bus is coming to Wellington's public transport fleet

It's the second stage of a trial into the use of electric articulated buses, which will run on the busy number two route between Karori and Seatoun.

The five extra-long buses, which have 65 percent more capacity than current buses, will be added to the fleet next year.

The route has been chosen as it's not able to accommodate double-decker buses, due to the size of the Karori and Seatoun tunnels.
