Police say they're pleased with Waitangi Day celebrations, with no major problems and no arrests

Northland District Prevention Manager Inspector Dean Robinson says the atmosphere at the treaty grounds has been relaxed and respectful.

Waitangi Limited Chief Executive Ben Dalton says the day was filled with people in good spirits, and they're grateful to everyone who made it a success.
