    New Zealand Rugby has backed down on its controversial proposal to field an Under-18 boys' side, which would have effectively supplanted the national Secondary Schools Fifteen


    The schools pushed back - now the national body's announced the schools team will remain the pinnacle and will play two matches this year against Australia.
