The boss of Auckland's Eden Park says affordable ticket prices and food options, are part of the puzzle to keeping people coming to games

The boss of Auckland's Eden Park says affordable ticket prices and food options, are part of the puzzle to keeping people coming to games

New Herald analysis shows it's the most expensive stadium for an average family night out.

Two adult tickets, two child tickets, four punnets of chips, two burgers, two pies, two beers, two soft drinks and a coffee, now cost a combined 190-dollars.

Eden Park Chief Executive Nick Sautner says while they don't set prices, they want to provide people with the best experience for the best price.

He says they can provide hot chips and cold beer, but it's the overall experience -- from the seat to the street -- that they're focused on.
